Sir James M. Barrie the famous author who wrote Peter Pan had once said about love; ‘If you have it, you don’t need to have anything else, and if you don’t have it, it doesn’t matter much what else you have.’ Truly love remains the highest of human emotional expressions.

Not all of us are blessed with true love. But for them who are blessed with it, life is complete while for those who still searching for it life is one mundane routine. However in spite of how lucky some of we are in terms of finding love we are not responsible enough to hold on to it.

Maintaining love relationships can be a challenge for most of us. It is not just about the actions but also about the intentions which some times count more. People tend to forget that their relationship started by the simple act of talking. Some times in a relationship, a phase comes, when the partners do not talk that much any more. This is critical as an apparent simple act of talking can be essential to keep things in context.

Make it a policy to take the time out of your schedules as often as you can to talk. Speak about work, talk about being together, being safe when he / she is around anything. That would increase the feelings for each other.

Truth is an important aspect of love and maintaining of love relationships. It can be a great aphrodisiac as well. Just being honest with your partner is a great way of saying that you love him/her.

Enjoy the time together. Simple and clean fun like watching a comedy or playing a game can be a really good way of releasing the pressure of daily work and tension and bring you to closer. Talk about the days when you were dating and how you wish to enjoy just being with each other. These things will surely and slowly bring you back to those moments and increase the romance in life.

Ask your partner about the ways you can increase the love in your life. Again we are sometimes too pre-occupied with the way we think how love should be in our lives. That may not necessarily be the way our partners expect it. Ask and you will be surprised.

Provide your partner with emotional support whenever he/she needs it. This is important as sometimes he/she needs it even though unable to express it. Be for him/her there when it is needed the most.

Although there is no clear cut formula to successful love relationships these among many others are merely guides. You will have to experiment and get better with it as time goes on.
